How it works:

Step One




Information & Application

Review program information and choose a contractor.

Step 2




Design

Work with your contractor or National Grid EV CSI on EV charging selection and site design.

Step 3




Application Review

You, your contractor, or your EV CSI enter your complete project information and associated documents into the EV portal and National Grid will review eligibility and site information, assessing costs and feasibility.

Step 4




Construction

If approved, your contractor or National Grid EV CSI builds your EV charging infrastructure to the designated location and installs the EV charging station.

Step 5




Activation

Once the EV charging station is both installed and activated, you or your EV CSI provides closing documentation to National Grid to authorize payment.
